Each Carbonio system is produced by hand utilising carbon fibre manufacturing techniques usually reserved for Formula 1 and the aerospace industries.

Carbonio create induction systems that utilise carbon fibre's unparalleled ability to insulate against heat which combined with its high strength to weigh ratio maximize the torque produced by your engine and look great. Compared to the stock intake, the Carbonio intake kits show increased flow numbers of around 40-50%. More interesting is the velocity at which the airflow in the system changes. The Carbonio system is much more dynamic than the stock system, and thanks to a specially textured inlet surface, results in a much better throttle response. In the case of the 1.8T VAG engine, a significant reduction in turbo 'lag' is achieved.
